IPMA proxy mode

Call Manager 4.1(3)

I am using IPMA in proxy mode.

Can a manager, that has a call on hold on his phone, pickup that call from the assistant's phone?

The assistant can see the call on hold via the IPMA Assistant Console.



I have this problem too.

I think no, as a workaround he can park it.

The other way (Manager using SetWatchOn) Managers can use "Intercept" to pick an Incoming|Active call in Assistant Phone.

Thanks for the response. The issue is the manager puts a call on hold then goes to the fax machine. He has a question for the caller about the fax and wants to pick up the caller and not have to run back to his desk (his office is a few offices a way).

I will look at the intercept. That may address another question the assistant had.
