Hello
My office uses the Cisco VPN Client 4.8 to connect remote users to our WAN. Our problem is when ever you connect to the VPN you get disconnected from any local network you may be on. For example if a user is working from home or at a small field office with shared folders or printers - these things are not accessible one they connect to our WAN via VPN. Is there any way to resolve that? Thanks

Hi,
The vpn box is probably set to tunnel everything. You will have to talk to the admin of the vpn box to allow local lan access or allow split tunnel.
Thanks

on your vpn concentrator or PIX you will have to set a tunnel split command such as the following:
vpngroup abc split-tunnel 101
it allows for non ip-sec info to also be transmitted ....it is more detailed than just this one command..but this is what you have to do
