I am running 3.1.2a on this switch and tried to upload the latest firmware to the bootflash. (3.1.3) In the process the mgmt port died half way through the ftp transfer. The console still works to gain access. I have tried changing the IP address etc and even using a crossover cable to remove the IP switch but no joy. Has anyone else found this problem or know how to get around it? I have noticed there were some bug fixes in 3.1.3 relating to the port but how do you get it to the lastest firmware without an ethernet port!! :)
