Hi,

I have a PC connected via X-over to a 1700 running c1700-advsecurityk9-mz.124-13b.bin

I want to telnet to the 1700 router using port 9000 (any dynamic port).

I have configured 'ip port-map telnet port 9000' and verified that this exists in the PAM table. However, I still cannot connect to the router.

'debug ip tcp transactions' show that the router sends RST each time the PC tries to establish a connection on 9000.

I have switched off ips with 'no ip ips sdf builtin' in case this was in the default signature file.

Any ideas ?
