Hi all,
My SW1 and SW2 are interconnected via ISL trunks (Port 2 of the SUP720 module). This works fine as I can ping a PC from SW1 to SW2 and a specific VLAN.
My questions is:
if for some reason the Trunks go down, how does the Stations on SW2 connect to the VLAN IP that was programmed on SW1? I cannot add the same VLAN IP Address on both switches as there's a conflict.
Ex: VLAN104 has an IP of 10.1.1.1 that was configure while connected to SW1.
I cannot do the same on SW2 as the IP is confliting.
How can this be resolved?
Would like to have theses 2 switches in an Active/Active mode, but how do they both share the same VLAN IP's?
Thanks for your help.
