Extension mobilty on CCM 4.2(3)

Hello all,

I have a pretty annoying concern for deploying at a client the Cisco IP phones having a very specific logout profile:

Call Manager version is 4.2(3)

IP Phones used are 7940, 7960 and 7911.

Client wants to have extension mobility with every user having a login/logout on every type of phone.

Also, and this is where i have a problem, the user want to login he got the message" host not found".

I verified ip phone services every thing it s ok.

the problem is when i tried to open the url "http://<CCM_IP>/emapp/EMAppservlet?device=#DEVICENAME#"

on the IE i got the message: The XML page connot be displayed

an invalid character was found in the text content.

I don't what that mean

i want just to say that i have the same parameters on the doc that u gave me. but i ve always the message host not found.

i did the following url in cisco ip phone services "http://171.69.103.225/emapp/EMAppServlet?device=#DEVICENAME#

" but nothing work

Hi Jose,

The 171.69.103.225 is just the example Callmanager IP Address. Try your CCM IP Address in this spot.(x.x.x.x)

Of course i did the ip address of my CCM.

the ip addresse for CCM is 192.42.171.250 and i did in the url:

hi,

thank you, i was found the problem. it was about entreprise parameters in the service url phone, i remplaced the name of server by the ip address.

the ip phone cant resolve the name of call manager.

but now i ve another problem, when i selected the connect i cant got the login and password in got the message connection refused error[100]. what that error 100 mean??
