I am trying to add 3005 VPN concentrators to Ciscoworks.
The devices are failing config archives with the following error:
TELNET Protocol not supported for VPN3000 TFTP Protocol not supported for VPN3000 SSH Protocol not supported for VPN3000
Do VPN3005s not allow for config archiving?

That should be sufficient.,

The VPN concentrators use HTTPS to fetch their configs. You will therefore need to specify HTTPS credentials in DCR for this device.

J,
Thanks.
Isthat all that is needed?

Should be provided the CiscoWorks server is allowed to connect to the concentrator.

J,
I added a second concentrator, set up both in common services\device and credentials
I set up http, and current mode of https.
I am still getting job failures with the same error.
It seems I have seen the different protocols and their order of use:
RPC
Telnet
SSH
I cannot seem to find this again, is this where I need to add HTTPS?

It looks like you've changed the default protocol order. You need to add HTTPS to your ArchiveMgmt Fetch protocol order for the Concentrators.

i didn't make any changes, I just remembered seeing it.
As it is now, it has:
Telnet
TFTP
SSH
HTTPS (just added it)
for config fetch and config deploy.
Is there any other job area that would need it added?

That should be sufficient.,

Once again,
You helped me solve a problem.
It looks good now, config archive is 32 successful and 0 failed.
Don't forget either J,
This was a mess when I started, you have helped me get it working pretty well.
The test will be the scheduled jobs tonight and I will see if everything works.
I need to do some test restores from config archives to see how that works.
But thanks again.
