Dear Experts,
I have this question from a common testing writing company , they ansewer it with access list and VLAN ,but i answered this question with access list and encrypted routers password ...
As i saw in the picture that all the hosts within the same subnet .. so i can't use VLAN to protect or to make a group of hosts within the same broadcast domain ( VLAN ).
Is my answer right ?

A router password would not protect the server.
Yes, they are currently on the same network, but I think what they're saying is you could create separate vlans to protect the server.

The answers are correct.
The examiner is actually asking you ways to implement the requirement.
hence you would probably segregate the MGR, worker etc into seperate vlans and configure access-lists to allow only those vlans talk to the payroll server.
