3750 Stackwise problem

I have a stack consisting of 7 3750 switches, mixed 24T and 48P... When I hit the stack mode button between my switch 2 and 3 the port 23 on Switch 2 and the port 24 on switch 3 are amber.. ALl other switches in the stack have green lights indicating good link. Is this a potential bad cable or port? How can I verify. If it is a bad cable, can I replace without taking down the remaining stack members

Catalyst 3750-E switch StackWise cable: remove and inspect the cable and StackWise port for bent pins or damaged connectors. If the StackWise cable is bad, replace it with a known good cable.
