i have two routers attach for a tunnel. in both router i have configured a same area and i detected in bot router logs of:

%CLNS-3-BADPACKET: ISIS: L1 LSP, bad

max-area-addresses 0, ID 0100.6400.0034.00-00, seq 85, ht 0 from

0018.7425.6500 (GigabitEthernet0/0)

my problem is that my connectivity with my end system up and down (my ports and wires are correct)

my question is:

the problem is with my end system (ES) or problems with my hardware switch or cisco.

Hi,

I am not quite sure, would you be nice to put your complete NSAP address as you have configured over the Lucent device.

May be you have either wrong NSAP format or it's length is not correct.

Would be nice if you also keep the configuration of the routers only CLNS part.

try configuring the following commands and let's see if your problem could be solved.

router isis

ignore-lsp-errors
