display name for a specific called number

Dear pro,

I use the CME 4.0(2) and i need to display the name of a specific called number; for example : if i call an ip phone from my GSM i need to see my name on the ip phone.

So how can i do that.

Where are you located ? In some countries, the name will be passed via IE in ISDN setup message.

The client located in Morocco. in fact, we need to enter for example a name and the number on database for ccm and when that number called our gateway we been see her name.

Hello,

if telco can provide caller-id service, you can associate numbers to names and you will see it together with the calling number on the phone screen:

telephony-service

directory entry 10 5551234 name Happy Customer

Does the caller-id works ? Can you see the calling number on phone ?

If no, please check caller-id configuration and service from telco.

If yes, I've tested this with CME 4.1 - IOS 12.4(11)XJ3 with ISDN and works fine, so you may want to upgrade.
