Hi all,

I need to associate the serverfarm(VPNFARM) that I have created to a physical interface say (Gig 1/14)?

"ip slb serverfarm VPNFARM"

I'm not sure If this is possible with Cat6500's?

Can someone help me out with the commands?

Many Thanks

Beno

I am not able to understand your question.

I suggest you to go through this link. It is clearer here.

This is an IOS based SLB. Where The Cisco IOS does the SLB based on hits to the Virtual IP.

Packets to the Virtual IP is load balanced to the Real IP s of the server.

2 VLANs are created 1 for the Real VLAN where the servers are put & 1 for the External IP.

I'm not sure your question makes sense. Again, the IOS-SLB virtual ip is a null0 route which make all packets to that virtual ip interrupt the switch cpu.

If you want to restrict the connections to the IOS-SLB you can use the 'access' keyword under the serverfarm/vserver or client access-list.
