I have a 4506 with a WS-X4013....is it able to support PoE? I also only have 2 1000w power supplies. I don't think the power supplies will work but don't know about the sup.

Hi,
It is mainly depends on line card that you have?? Like WS-X4548-GB-RJ45V line cards will support POE with Supervisor II-Plus
(WS-X4013+).

Hope it clarifies ur doubt.

I did know about the line card. I was looking to see if WS-4013....not WS-4013+ would support it. Also I was just clairifying if the 1000w power supplies were ok....I don't think they are....but just wanted to check.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
The 1000W power supplies are Data only power supplies and hence i think you would require to upgrade your power system to support PoE.
Use the power calculator to check the power requirements http://tools.cisco.com/cpc/launch.jsp
HTH, rate if it does
