Ping sample:
Reply from 10.36.80.12: bytes=32 time=1672ms TTL=253
I'd like to know what is the possible reason when im conducting ping to the ip indicated above im geting high value of time(ms).
Note: It's an IP address of a switch in Vlan 80.

Hi,
High delay values in LANs, is most probably due to cabling issues, duplex issues, broadcast storms, LAN devices performance issues, can you tell us more about your connectivity schema.

Hi,
Pls try with the Traceroute to this IP inorder to verify the Route it takes from Source to Destination.
I could also be an Routing Issue. Also, Check the VLAN Status, Port Status, Speed & Duplex Status, etc.,

Download the freeware graphical traceroute utility WinMTR. That should give you some further indication of why its taking so long..
