Alarm indiation in E1 Card

I can see the ALM and CD alarms in my E1 card, i have specified the card type, my card is working fine as i have check with 1245 physical loop also. what is the CD alarm refer to....

Do "show controllers E1" and you will see what the alarms are. Usually, no signal, that means, bad cabling, or faulty circuit.

The CD alarm is the CARRIER DETECT alarm. It means you are not seeing the remote end from a layer one prospective. Do you have a RED Alarm on the line? You probably have a line issue or cabling issue....
