PSTN User Dial into Unity System

The voice gateway is H323 gateway.A PSTN user dial into voice mail pilot through H323 gateway from outside. Unity System prompt user to input user id.After user input user id, system prompt that it doesn't hear user's input and ask user to input again.Unity system cannot get what user input when user dial from outside.It's fine when user dial from inside.So what should I do?

Sounds like the DTMF is not getting from your gateway to Unity. Make sure dtmf-relay is set on the dialpeer used by this call. Assuming Unity is configured with SCCP ports connected to CCM or CME, then using h245-alphanumeric on the gateway is probably your best bet.
