Hi to all!
I'm going to install LMS 2.2 on a solaris 8 machine
After this I have to upgrade to LMS 2.5.1, and after to LMS 2.6
This server has a temporary IP address.
Can I change Ip address on solaris 8 machine, after this installation procedure?
Can I do it:
1) lms2.2->upgrade 2.5.1->upgrade 2.6
2) change ip address machine
Is it possible?
There are a restrictions?
Thanks a lot
Leonardo

Go ahead and do it as you have planned. Perform the upgrades, make sure its all working, and then change the IP Address of the server.

If you are really doing a fresh installation, first check if your LMS 2.5.1 CDs cover a full version of LMS. I assume this is the fact (I think you have purchase an upgrade version) so you do NOT need to install LMS 2.2 first - you can start to install LMS 2.5.1 directly!
Also please check if you could upgrade SOLARIS to sol 9 or sol 10 BEFORE starting your LMS installation. With this you will be prepared for a LMS 3.0 upgrade because support for sol 8 gets dropped!
You only need your LMS 2.2 CDs (RME and DFM) after the installation to validate you upgrade version of LMS - you do NOT need them as a base for LMS 2.5.1!
