i have two 45 mbps ethernet link between two 6509 switches atdifferent locations.

i have created port channel for this two link. Now if any of this link goes down, it does come out of PO , it continues to remain

a member of PO beacuse of which there is a connectivity loss.I have to manually shut down the port to remove thelink out of PO when it is down.

What could be the reason for it. Is there any

solution for this.It shoud happen dynamically without manualinterruption.
