Hi,

We have an ip telephony network built across a 15 floor building. vocle vlans and data vlans are separate. Each floor is on a separate voice vlan. data vlans are created combining multiple floors.Recently we face delay while calling. It happens even some times when nobody is using the network. We found some trojans on the network and removed them. Still we face the problem. Can somebody help me how to identify whether data traffic is affecting the voice calls ?

we are using call manager version 4.1.3

there are 15 voice vlans and around 10 data vlans.

can the trojans create a delay in the voice network ?

since voice and data vlans are separate is it possible that data vlan traffic will affect the voice vlan?

please advice which sniffer should is adsvisabale to use in this scenerio?

or is there a chance that there is a problem in the qos ?

Regards
