Conference call on 64kbps link using G729 codec

Hi,

We have CCM4.2 at central location with 3-7906IP Phones. 1 IP Phones at 5 diff remote locatoin with 64Kbps leased line.

Enabled G729 codec at CCM. Is there any facility to make coference call on this setup. This link is used for both voice & data.

Already tested with G711 codec which is giving more delay on voice from central location to remote location..

Now tell me what is the way to do the conference facility, Already router have the PVDM cards.

Is it possible or not? without changing G729codec.

With Hardware Conference resources (PVDM) you can use G729. Make sure that the Hardware conference profile lists the G729 codec. Also, make sure that the codec settings in the region configuration on CallManager use the appropriate codec.
