Have a customer who is experiencing call disconnects when they place an outside call on hold for about 30 sec. CallManager is 5.1 and gateway is using MGCP.
Anyone have any ideas about this?
Thanks,

Try the following command on your gateway.
no mgcp timer receive-rtcp
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Chris,
This command turns off the timer for RTP/RTCP packets. Without this command, the call will be disconnected after a period of receiving no RTP/RTCP packets. While the call is on hold, it is receiving these packets from the MOH server. Take a look at the following link.
Hope this helps.
