Disabling line 2 for 7940 phones

Hi,

I am using ccm 4.1.3 and 7940 & 7941 ip phones. There are 2 lines in those phones, i would like to disable line 2 on those so that when a call is going on if someone rings it shld come as engaged.

Not sure if I've understood this right, you want that the phone should not show a 2nd call when someone is using the line. If this is right, then under the line settings for the 7940 IP phone, you can set the busy trigger to be 1. Once this is done, when a 2nd call is received on a line, it would try to use the option set Under "Call Forward Busy". Incase you dont want it to be routed to another line and the user should get a busy tone, then leave this field blank.
