Im a bit confused regarding Smartport role. Have been searching the docs but i cant find any answers. How important is the smartport role, destop for computers and switch for switch? Whats settings does a role do, for switch-role for example? Where can i see it when i do show run to se the running config?

And whats the correspondent command when using telnet for instance which i prefere?
