Hello,
Can anyone tell me what's Cisco LRE?, What's its function?.
cisco said that it expand the ISP Ethernet Network, what does this means?

Cisco Systems developed Long-Reach Ethernet (LRE) technology to deliver Ethernet service over existing single-pair wires.
LRE extends Ethernet over existing Category 1-3 wiring at speeds from 5 to 15 Mbps (full duplex) and distances of up to 5000 feet (1524 meters)
