CCNA Revision on Exams ?

Unanswered Question
Jun 23rd, 2007

I just passed my Into test 640 - 821 and now the website saids that last day to take the ICND is 11/6/07. Does this mean I have to take the ICND before this November or I have to retake the INTRO part? Will 5 months be enough time to attempt the ICND part?

I have this problem too.

If you pass the ICND ( 640-811 ) before the 11/06/07 then you will be CCNA certified. If you miss this date then you will have to take both of the new exams ( 640-822 & 640-816 ) or the new combined CCNA exam ( 640-802 ).

As for the time frame, that is dependant upon your knowledge, experiance and study time.

Good luck

Correction ---

From the Certification Support Site

Q - If I pass the INTRO exam and pass ICND2, will I achieve CCNA certification?

A - Yes. The INTRO 640-821 exam can be combined with the ICND2 640-816 exam to complete CCNA certification for as long as the INTRO exam is valid?up to three years from date that you pass the INTRO exam, per standard policy.

Sorry for any confusion
