I would like to build a very simple network with a switch divided up into 4 vlan's and a single uplink to a firewall. I would like to assign bandwidth to each of these vlan's. What is the best approach to take for this?
If you are trying to control bandwidth from VLANs to Firewall, than you can use policing on each VLAN or policing/shaping on output interface to firewall. You would have to classify traffic based on source address.
