Dear All
I took the following note from cisco site
Wire-speed performance on 3825 with services enabled at up to T3/E3 rates.
my quiestion is.
does this apply if i use Cisco Gigabit Ethernet Network Module to connect it to my service provider, in other words, can i get 1 GIGA throuput out of the router despite the upper statement using the GIG NM or using the SFP placed on the router.

If it is rated for wire speed up to T3 (45 meg) then I would not count on getting wire speed using a Gig interface. The performance of the router is somewhat dependent on what you are asking it to do (how many services you enable on it) but I would not expect to get wire speed performance on the Gig interface.
