Hello everybody,
Does anybody know how much the 3des/aes license for the pix is? I know the des license is for free but not the 3des/aes license, isn't it?

You can apply for a 3DES/AES license for free from Cisco web site.

Thanks Jon,
I received the new license but I still can't create VPN's with AES encryption. What did I do wrong? I'm using a PIX 506E.

Can you post the output of a "sh ver" from your pix ?
You did a reboot after updating the key yes ?
Could you post configs and details of what you are trying to set up.

Hi Jon,
thanks for all, but I figured it out by myself. THe Pix OS was 6.2. So upgrade to 6.3(5) and now AES is enabled as well.
