FWSM Firewall Version 3.1(4)0 <context>

Device Manager Version 5.2(1)F

I can not figure out how to delete a Global Object (ip address).

I can add and modify...

But in the two different Global Object interfaces

when you are in the Security Policy section or the Global Objects section

there is not -DELETE- option for the Global Object type (ip address)

Has anyone run into this yet.....???

I looked at the "new Bugtrack" there are 48 entries but his issue is not one of them.

Also this version of the FWSM has Policy Nat creation and modification issues....

It appears after much testing over the past two weekends that a policy nat can only be created and then never modified...

it appears that the no acl(what ever the name is) command is issues last in all of the commands that flow from ASDM to the FWSM application.... It should be first.....

It is really a mess since policy nat can not be used on any of our 25 contexts....this is really a big issue.....

Any ideas on this would be helpful.....

We are running very resent version....FWSM Firewall Version 3.1(4)0 <context>.

Well this proves my point.

No answers to these questions in this forum either.....

Regardless of what Cisco says, there are not very many customers using this version of the FWSM....with 35 context's defined....

I was just checking.....

I Will move this issue to our NEW Regional Sales Manager......I met him in NC at CPOC for us, earlier this year......

Cicso Tech could not understand why this "feature" doesn't function either.....

Vertual Firewalls have their downside.....
