Sup 720 has the following feature:

Integrated 720-Gbps Switch Fabric

Hi

As Edison has said the Supervisor 720 supports a 720Gbps switch fabric ie each slot aupports 2 x 20Gbps connectors to the switch fabric. So for example on a 6509 switch

2 x 20Gbps = 40Gbps x 9 = 360.

Cisco then multiple this figure by 2 for full duplex transmission to get 720Gbps.

So AFAIK with a 6504-E chassis you would get

2 x 20Gbps = 40Gbps * 4 = 160 Gbps x 2

= 320Gbps capacity.
