Cisco 1721 TROUBLESHOOTING

my router 1721 does't restart!!!! nothing at all in the console just some ??????? sometimes!!!! what does it mean?

the console cable is working properly the pc and hyperterminal too the problem is in the router but i don't know what it is?

Can you elaborate bit more on your actual problem being faced over there ?

Are you facing some issues with accessing the console of the router or telenting the router ?

My issue is that console seems to be 'dead'. How did you solve this?
