does a server that's hosting wcs getting rebooted during an upgrade

Can someone please tell me if the device that's running WCS will need to be rebooted during the WCS upgrade? The reason I am asking is because that same device is also hosting ACS, so in case of the device being rebooted, I need to take some precautinary actions.

Yes, when upgrading mine to 4.1 it rebooted.
