Hi,

CDP is not restricted to Native VLAN, Each CDP-configured device sends periodic messages to a multicast address, but the question is how do you receive the CDP packets on your PC ?

HTH,

Mohammed Mahmoud.

HTH,

Mohammed Mahmoud.

i capture it via sniffer

on the switchport interface that you don't want cdp enabled on, enter the following command:

no cdp enable

or to globally disable cdp, enter:

no cdp run
