Hi,
I have total 4 serial interface means 4 e1 going towards Site A router .current router of Site B is 3706 & Site A router is 7209.
My question is how you can I compress the data which is input from Sit B and sending to Site A.
I have multilink of 4 interface so approxi 8 mb data is going towards Site A so after compression how much input & howmuch output will be their means can send approxi 12 mb data towards Site A & same from Site A to Site B???
Thanks in advance.

Data compression can be done either in hardware or software.
there are stacker and predictor compression techniques available but i do not have much experience with it.
Have a look at this link

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
But I need some specific info about this, ie.
1. In case of software compression what is the ratio?
2. In case of hardware compression what is the ratio?
3. Which will be suitable in this case, where i have 3706 and 7609 on either side?
Thanks.
