Hi,
Some question from Trunk & EtherChannel
1. Can we make a Ethernet ( 10M ) port a trunk ?
2. Does it need to be full duplex?
3. Can EtherChannel ports be made Trunk ?
4. Can we make Ethernet ( 10M ) ports EtherChannel?
5. Does it EtherChannle ports need to be full duplex?

Hi,
1. Of cause you can.
2. No, the Duplex-Mode doesn't matter.
3. Yes.
4. Yes, but then all channel-ports have to be 10M.
5. Doesn't matter but again has to be the same configuration on all channel-ports.

1) Actually depends on the protocol used, ISL only works on Fast or Gig Ethernet ports. ISL isn't supported on the 2950 switch however so shouldn't be an issue.
I've never seen the port speed as an issue when discussing 802.1Q so as far as I know you can use 802.1Q trunking on a 10M port.
Anyone know differently?
