how can i find out what type of
isdn switch (switch type) is being used in my home country?
for instance in IRAN!!

Hi,
Service provider boss.. or else trial and error... change all the switch types and iniate a loop call(to own number) if you can see the call coming in.Bingo! u r lucky enough to find the switch type.

Actually, and with much respect for the other answers, everywhere in the world (except north America), you will have basic-net3 for BRI, and primary-net5 for PRI.
This is because all the countries (again except north America) adheres to international standards.
