Hi, I have two WS-SVC-CMM modules for a 6500 switch. I'm using a sup2/msfc2 engine. My os are the following:
SUP: cat6000-sup2k8.8-5-7.bin
MSFC2: c6msfc2-psv-mz.121-26.E3.bin
My error: No registration received from module 3... resetting module.
My first guess would be a corrupted IOS image.
My IOS versions meet the requirements to run to a CMM module. I've tried the recovery procedure on this link:
The only thing I have been unable to verify up until this point is this note:
"Note The downloaded image must be the same version that was previously operating on the CMM. Failure to perform the disaster recovery with the same image version could result in corrupted port adapters."
(Slightly unreleated): I got the idea of being able to console directly into the CMM bored from this link:

My question is, is there any pinout configuration for a console cable for this WS-SVC-CMM module?
If this were the case,... I could use this to gain access to the CMM flash and possibly try an xmodem recovery.
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated thanks in advance.

No, there is no pinout configuration for a console cable for this WS-SVC-CMM module apart from the general ones

Use a straight one and connect to the port inside the CMM.
