Cisco IPVC 3540 GW2P signaling

I'm having difficulty getting the GW2P module to match the National ISDN signaling from the teleco. I had the teleco tech come on site and verify that NI-1 signal is coming from the teleco. The problem is Cisco does not say if the GW2P is using NI-1 or NI-2. Thoughts?

It can be NI-1 or NI-2.

Thanks for the information. I read several other technical documents for voice gateways and PRI lines which spoke specifically about DMS-100, 5ESS, and NI-2, but never found anything on the subject for the GW2P.
