Is there any way than we can configure the phone to only be able to make calls that are in their speed dials? I was thinking of specifying it in the route pattern but the range of numbers for the speed dial is too general.
This would not be possible. You cannot configure the Phone to only call the Speed Dials or Abbr Dial numbers. Only way to do this would be to create Route Patterns such that it only allows calling specific numbers.
You maybe able to do something with forced authorization codes or CSS.
