i have 2 (64kbps) isdn links with 2 dialer strings
i want to connect the remote site at 128 kbps is it possible? if possible config pls
i tried creating a dialer interface and included in pool membership, but it doesnt worked, in article i was said
if i put dialer string 1333223
dialer string 1464313
it will pick only first number, if first fails second will be considered
i want to use two strings with dialer interface ?
any config or tips to do that

Hi,
You have to specify the dial order. Please try teh following example.
interface Dialer0
ip address 10.1.1.130 255.255.255.0
encapsulation ppp
dialer pool 1
dialer string 1904
dialer string 1905
dialer-group 1
dialer order round-robin

I think it help a little.

Hi Shiva
As you have pointed out in your earlier mail by defining 2 dialer strings will help only when the first defined dialer string is unavailable...
Have you tried defining 2 dialers instead and assigning induvidual dialer strings onto them ?
