Backup Exec Server Recovery on CCM servers?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has used Symantec's Backup Exec Server Recovery (BESR) to transfer images and use it for backups of CallManger servers running on MCS 7845s?

We are currently running CCM 4.1.3 SR 4d, CER 1.3(2) and ICM 6.0/CRM 3.5(4).

I have the option of using that software but would like you opinion first.

I was told that Symantec's Backup Exec Server Recovery has some issues. You might want to get that double checked.

Using Backup Exec or any other third party software tool to backup and restore is not supported nor I think they would be. Only supported option with reference CM, IPCC Express, CER is BARS.
