All of the VLAN interface IPs for a switch are appearing in the Common Services DCR. We have a VLAN created for management purposes. Should I delete the other VLAN interface IPs appearing in the DCR and keep only the management interface IP for a single switch? I think this is what I want to do but am unsure if I would be missing any valuable information by leaving the other IPs in Common Services. I want to clean things up so that I don't have 30 IPs for a single switch appearing in the table.
If you remove the devices from DCR, they will be removed from Campus Manager as well. Campus relies on the data in DCR to determine the proper management address. As for traffic sourced from devices, you can choose the correct management interface for many protocols. For example, for syslog messages:
