Hi,

Rerouting itself should not have any relation to HTTP in a router.

BUT: next time, please give info about hardware, IOS version and if possible the relevant portions of the config.

So without detailed info a guess: did you disable http server and https server?

no ip http server

no ip http secure server

This could maybe cure the problem. Be aware, that you will not be able to use f.e. SDM or other HTTP related access to the router, if executing the command above.

Hope this helps!

Regards, Martin

Do you have any authentication proxy configured on the router? Do you have " ip http server" enabled on the router? If yes, then try disabling it " no ip http server ", " no ip http secure-server" and see if it makes any difference.

Please paste the config for more insight on this.
