I need some help, I need to set up a number similar to creating a Group Dialed Number group but I need to know if there is another way to set this up other than putting a second line appearance on the phones we are using CCM ver 4.0 and 7940 and 7960 phone I would like to be able to do this by locations ( we have different buildings in diffeernt cities without overe head paging capabilities)in different buildings for the purpose if we have an emergency and want to ring all of the phones with a certain ring tone to notify them. Any help and or info would be appreciated. Thanks Scott
I would setup a Hunt Pilot, Hunt List and Line group for each location with a Broadcast algorithm. I don't know about the certain ting type. Basically when you call the Hunt Pilot, it would ring all phones in the associated Line Group.
