I took the ICND test today and passed with an 886. Troubleshooting pulled my score up, got 100% in that area, while Planning & Design at 60% was trying to sink me. I'm going to have to decompress an look at what's in the Planning & Design section to try to understand what I missed.
I used the Wendell Odom INTRO & ICND books, as well as a couple classes my company sent me to to prepare as well as this web site.
The test covered all of the topics in the books and outline, none of the areas seemed to be particularly stressed to me.
There was only one simulation, and lots of drag and drop questions. I felt the simulation took me to long, the question seemed vague on what the objective was.
Advice: Get a good nights sleep, eat a good breakfast and relax, you either know it or you don't and no amount of cramming will help.
