I have installed an HWIC-1FE in a 2851 router and when I boot up the device, the new interface does not show up. Only the 2 Gigabit interfaces which are on-board come up? I have verified they are in the proper slot and even tried moving them to a different slot. When I do a show ip int brief, it is not there. Is there a command to enable the interface? Has anybody come across this before? Thanks.
