EDGE SERVICE: MANAGED IP ROUTER

Unanswered Question
Jun 28th, 2007

Recently, I've been working on getting a Service Provider Company certified on MSCP Edge Service: IP Routing. I cant find much on the website, even less on the internet. So I was wondering I you could help me with the following.

I would like to know, which Managed Services fall into the, Edge Service: IP Routin, category?

I have this problem too.

Hi, these are simply cisco definitions to profile a type of network and do not necessarily map to an exact design or device.

For example, edge router is a router with WAN interface speeds between 1.5 and 45 mbps.

Managed services is when a customer gives all the routers configuration and monitoring to a service provider.

Nothing more technical.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
