replacing c2610 that have NM4E Cisco Interface Module 4-Port

i want to rereplace my old c2610 that have NM4E Cisco Interface Module 4-Port that used for connecting to 4 different network.

what's a good replacement? i was thinking of a 2811 but don't know which similar network module.

Hi


The new ISR series router models comes with the support of Ethernet Switching Module(ESW) which can be termed as a replacement of Ethernet modules.


But with ESW modules you wont be able to assign ip address to induvidual ports of the module as you can do with normal ethernet modules.


But in case of ESW you can configure SVI(VLAN) interfaces and make each port a member of the vlan interface.


By doing so you can terminate your local lan segments onto the particular vlan..
