Hi

I have a PIX 515E Firewall at my central office.

I use cisco VPN clinet to connect the same from remote sites.so far i am able to connect to it.

but i have some other branches connected to the central location over MPLS which dont have firewall.

My problem is I my struglling with a solution to connect to the branch network using the cisco VPN client.

Is there any solution how I can do this without using the remote desktop.

Like can I connect my branch network through the VPN tunnel which is upto my central location.

My understanding is that you would like to connect two offices together using current internet connections.

In my oppinion, it is best to put another firewall at your branch/s and setup a firewall to firewall VPN.

Did this help?

Thank you for the reply

But at this moment I dont have firewall for the branches.

I'm assuming that the remote sites connected via MPLS are on different subnets.

If that the case, you will need to add the remote sites encryption domains into the PIX config for the VPN clients.

Make sure the routing on the PIX is corrent too.

Hi,

Just curious about why you are not able to reach PIX via ciso VPN client?.

Are you expecting support for installation/configuration of cisco vpn client in your remote site PC?

Yes support for configuration on firewall would be really helpful.

Thank you
