Cisco ACS 1113 Appliance v4.1 - RSA Securid v6.1 integration

The Windows version of Cisco ACS appears to have the ability to integrate with RSA Securid as its listed in the External Databases. It also can support the SDI protocol if you install the agent on the ACS Windows platform. I need to use a Cisco ACS 1113 appliance but RSA Securid does not appear under the External databases section. Does this mean I will not be able to use the SDI protocol only RADIUS available.

And yes you are correct,

With ACS SE, We need to configure it using Radius, on ACS SE it wont work with SDI.

Do you know when this will be integrated in to the ACS appliance ver 5???

Prem

This document is for the Windows ACS version

Mark

Mark,

This is for ACS SE, as you can see we do not have Secure ID option.

Though its for 3.3, but same works for 4.x

Prem

The document is good.

Go to the following link and select the documentation yourself:

http://rsasecurity.agora.com/rsasecured/results.asp?product_program=107&page=3

you can even compare documentation for ACS for Windows and ACS appliance.

Hi

For ACS appliance you have to configure RSA as radius token server.

Following link can help you configure it:

http://rsasecurity.agora.com/rsasecured/guides/imp_pdfs/Cisco_ACS_333_11_AuthMan6.1.pdf

Hope this helps.

OK this looks ok.

Do you agree that the authentication traffic between the ACS and the RSA Server is RADIUS not SDI which the Windows version of ACS can support

And reason for that is, because when we configure .conf file, it needs to be imported on ACS SE, which is currently not an option, which is there on ACS for windows.
